These Terms of Service govern the use of Migrantalk (migrantalk.de), an online German-language learning platform (levels A1–C1) for migrants, refugees, international students, and professionals in German-speaking countries. By registering for or using the platform, you accept these terms.
Provider
Migrantalk is operated by Roshan, in connection with Saarland University (Universität des Saarlandes). Contact: roshanmazlomyar@gmail.com.
Description of service
Migrantalk offers learning content covering the four language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, as well as preparation for recognized exams (Goethe-Institut, TELC, ÖSD). Part of the content is available free of charge (freemium); further tiers (Premium, exam preparation, B2B licenses, Fachkräfte-Pro) are described on our pricing page. Specific payment terms for any paid offering will be communicated at the time of purchase.
Migrantalk prepares learners for the exams named above but does not itself issue official language certificates. These are issued exclusively by the respective examination institutions.
Registration and account
Certain features require an account. You confirm that the information you provide at registration (including email address, name, and country) is accurate. If you register with a residence in Germany, a phone number is additionally required for SMS verification. Each account is intended for use by one person; login credentials must be kept confidential.
If you are under 16 years old, please use Migrantalk only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
User submissions (feedback)
Messages submitted through the feedback feature may be viewed by the Migrantalk team and used to improve the platform. Please do not submit sensitive data about third parties through this feature.
Availability and changes
Migrantalk is under continuous development. Uninterrupted availability of the platform cannot be guaranteed. Individual features may be changed, extended, or discontinued.
Termination
You may stop using the platform at any time; upon request to the contact address above, your account will be deleted. Migrantalk may restrict or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Liability
Content is provided to the best of our knowledge and with the greatest possible care, but it supports language learning and does not replace legal, immigration, or other binding advice. No guarantee is given as to the accuracy, completeness, or currency of the content, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to these terms
These Terms of Service may be updated to reflect changes to the platform or to applicable law. The current version is always available on this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by German law.
